Hello and welcome to my new website

David Graham, British actor, personal website

Friends have been suggesting to me for some time that I should put something up on the web but it’s taken a while for me to get around to it.
I’ve been working in this business for so many years now and, truth to tell, I don’t always remember the exact details of everything that I’ve done.

But I have been lucky enough to work with some very talented people and be associated with some very famous shows.

And I’m still working at it,  still acting and doing voiceovers, and still enjoying it – which I suppose is what really counts.

All in all, it’s been an interesting life and I hope you’ll find it interesting too. If you have any suggestions or questions about the site, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment.

yours very cordially,

David Graham

    Hi David,
This is just a quick email to say how much Louise and i enjoyed our brief chat at the central hall last Saturday. We found it most interesting to hear of your working with such luminaries as Leonard rossiter and Laurence olivier.Once again, we hope you get the role of ‘Parker’ and ‘Brains’ in the upcoming ‘Thunderbirds’ reboot,we will certainly be rooting for you.Sadly though,we can’t pull any strings. All the best,Louise & Graeme

    Hy David,

I have emailed my adress for the autograph a week ago 😀

  • Sian Campbell-Curtis says:

    Dear David

I am trying to find a copy of the stage version of Dinner Ladies as my amatuer dramatic company would like to perform it. I was wondering how to go about getting a copy. Are you able to help at all.

    Kind Regards

  • Paul Adgar says:

    Dear David

Myself and my wife were at the Brit Sci Fi event over the weekend and meeting you / getting an autograph picture were on her to do list as you are one of the few remaining thunderbirds stars she has not yet met . Unfortunately we managed to miss you as every time we were able to come along to your section you had either just left or were on your way to another event including by just a few minutes at the end sadly . Are you planning to attend any other events in the near future or is it possible to purchase a signed picture by mail ?
I hadn’t realised until today that you also do voices for Grandpa Pig and the wise old elf , our two year old daughter ( who was with us ) would have been so impressed …. I hope you had a good day .

    Kind Regards

    Paul Adgar

Dear Paul Many thanks for your message. I’m sorry I missed you on Sunday. I enjoyed the day and all the feed back from people who appreciate my efforts. If you send me your address I will send you a picture with my compliments. There is another event coming up next month at a Hotel near London Airport to celebrate Gerry’s work. It’s called Andecom.
The date is around the 19th April. I will be attending. Grandpa Pig sends love to your daughter.

      Best wishes David

We would really like to perform “dinner ladies” during our 2015/16 season. I have tried to obtain copies but it seems to be out of print everywhere. I have even tried the email address you gave a previous enquirer some time ago (joseph@threatrescrpts), but that no longer exists.

    Could you help us please?

  • Matthew Elliot-Ripley says:

    Dear Mr Graham

My name is Matthew Elliot-Ripley and I represent a student theatre company in Durham called Ooook! Productions. We have a history of putting on stage adaptations of British sitcoms, and always donate profits from our shows to charity. We were wondering if we would be able to get permission to stage a production of your stage adaptation of dinnerladies?

If we were allowed to stage dinnerladies, we would then donate the profits to a charity of your choosing.

In the past we have produced stage adaptations of Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, ‘Allo ‘Allo and Yes, Prime Minister, and donated large sums to a number of charities including Amnesty International and Comic Relief.

Thank you for your time, I hope to hear from you soon.

    All the best

    Matthew Elliot-Ripley

    • david graham says:

Dear Matthew Thanks you for your message regarding Dinner Ladies. I am afraid that I was not the person who did the stage adaptation of this comic piece. If I had you would have been welcome to use it in your production especially for charity. There must be another David Graham lurking in the bushes somewhere and I hope you succeed in tracking him down.

      Best wishes David Graham

  • Mike Pirks says:

I was reading up about the stage adaptation of the BBC sitcom Dinnerladies you did a few years ago. I’d love to do it with the group I am working with currently. Can you tell me if the rights are available for it and how I would apply for them?

  • Louise Gray says:

Hi, to follow on from Mike Pirks’ question above, I would also like to perform dinner ladies stage adaption with a local amateur theatre group. Please can you confirm if the script and rights are available and how I would apply?
    Many thanks, Louise Gray

  • Andreas Hastie (Bradgate Drama Society) says:

  • Jonathan says:

    Dear Sir/Madam,

I am chairman of an amateur dramatic group called The Porthill Players, based in Staffordshire. We are a registered charity and are a very inclusive socially focused group of enthusiastic individuals. We would very much like to perform Dinner Ladies at our local theatre. I know there was a group in Stone who performed this a couple of years ago and i was hoping we would be offered the same opportunity please?
If you require any further information, please let me know.

    Thank you in advance

  • Andy Tibbles says:

Hi David , I love your work and you make myself and my three year old roar with laughter on Ben and Holly. The wise old Elf is pure genius!
Would you be able to leave me a voicemail for my little girl Amelie Jessica Tibbles , she would love it 07886877473

  • Miks Veltmanis says:

    Dear David!
We (i.e. my wife and I) started watching Peppa Pig just because our 2.5 year old son Lukas could be entertained from time to time. And honestly, now the whole family, including us, both adults, are great fans of Peppa Pig and Grandpa Pig in particular. We’ve got out favourite episodes, favourite phrases and expressions (…I am having a cup of tea!) and all of us are absolutely in love with Grandpa Pig.

We thought we would google You and would get in touch just so we could tell you this – long liv Grandpa Pig, long live David Graham!

Wish you good health and best wishes from Latvia,

Viktorija, Miks, Lukas and baby Markus

  • Sean says:

Hello David, I hope you are keeping well, I am a big fan of Doctor Who and over the years I have acquired quite a merchandise collection. I have been collecting trading cards since I was 9 in 2006 when the first series of Battles In Time came out, I was wondering if there is any chance I could perhaps send two cards for you to sign for me as I have again acquired quite a few signed cards over the years after meeting a lot of the actors from the series, including the late great Diana Rigg, David Tennant, John Barrowman, Noel Clarke, Christopher Ryan and many more (129 to be exact). please let me know if you can help me with this request, thank you for your time.
